Letter to Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall from Saskatchewan residents

It is extremely important that Saskatchewan parents and residents fill out the feedback form regarding K-12 math education at the Saskatchewan government webpage. In addition to this, we feel that a face-to-face meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Education in Saskatchewan is imperative to ensure that the government understands the gravity of the situation and that concerns of Saskatchewan parents and residents are taken seriously.

We have set up an online letter, addressed to the government, requesting a meeting and are collecting signatures from Saskatchewan residents for the letter at this link:

Letter to Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall

Please sign the letter by clicking on “sign the petition” at the above link. Solid public support for this letter, and for WISE Math, is crucial in order to achieve significant and durable changes to the current educational system.

We ask that you actively seek the signature of every relative, friend, neighbour and acquaintance whom you think may be in agreement with our goals. Please ask them to sign the letter at the above link and to sign at WISE Math, if they have not already done so.

After enough signatures are collected on the letter, Fernando Szechtman will be contacting signatories to ask for volunteers to attend the meeting.

In the end, we will get the mathematics education system that we deserve. It depends on each and every one of us to contribute what we can to this cause.
